FILIARMI’S SS24 COLLECTION FUSES 1950’s INSPIRED CORSETRY WITH A CONTEMPORARY SPIN ON NOUGHTIES GLAMOUR

For Spring Summer 24, Filiarmi reintroduce separates for the first time since their SS22 collection, with nostalgic references to noughties partywear in the form of square-necked crop tops and hip strap detailing. Filiarmi’s eternal inspiration, Jean Arp, is also intertwined throughout each silhouette, embodied by the brands signature scallop wave and structural embellishment.

Filiarmi’s celebration of femininity this season, seen in the cut of each bodice, owes its inspiration to 1950’s pin-up corsetry, romanticised through striking, deep v-neck corsages - as seen most notably in the Kristin gown and Drew dress - and blouson, sweet heart necklines, defined by the Cameron and Claudia shapes. Shades of orchid lilac, scarlet red and blushed nude hues coalesce the colour palette for SS24, underpinned by Filiarmi’s sustained usage of sophisticated monochrome throughout each season.

Filiarmi also continues the story for four silhouettes first debuted in AW23; the Sophia and Monica floor length maxi gowns, alongside the bestselling Amy and Gia mini dresses are each reborn in Spring Summer 24’s new season colourways.

SS24’s production will run alongside Filiarmi’s Signature collection, all locally manufactured in the brand's atelier in Istanbul. With a growing team of in-house cutters and seamstresses, Filiarmi now oversees the full production process, reusing old styles and their respective fabrics from previous collections, whilst continuing to run small batch quantities with a mindful, made-to-order approach.
