FILIARMI’S AW23 COLLECTION OFFERS FEMININE BOUDOIR & 1930’s INSPIRED ROMANCE

Filiarmi rediscovers the 1930’s party scene for its AW23 collection. Boudoir-inspired ruffle necklines and balloon-frilled structures cascade floor length silhouettes and jumpsuits in tones of wine red, soft mauve, onyx and duck egg blue.

Filiarmi muses Jean Arp and Sonia Delauney continue to inform and empower the Filiarmi aesthetic, in both minimal and contemporary forms. Abstract 30’s art deco detailing, halter neck, fan-shaped bodices and Filiarmi’s brand defining ‘scallop’ curve elegantly personify a-line mini dresses and mid-length gowns through out the collection.

Staying true to the Filiarmi aesthetic, signature styles, such as the bodice-frilled Roma Jumpsuit and Dolly Dress, AW22’s Nolita Gown, RE23’s Daraxi Dress, SS23’s Solar, Karina, Indira and Diana shapes, along with the signature Nile Gown have all carried through into AW23, renewed in this season’s colourways.

About Filiarmi

Introducing Filiarmi, a refreshingly on-trend cocktail meets evening-wear brand from Istanbul. Filiarmi aims to empower women with its contemporary, feminine, and effortless styles that use colour and shaping to enhance and celebrate the female form.

Filiarmi was founded in March 2020 by Gozde Arig who inherited her creative nature from her parents, with her father being an international award-winning caricaturist and her mother owning a textile company. Growing up in such a creative environment Gozde developed a passion for art and design at a young age. In 2011 Gozde graduated from London College of Fashion and went on to train under Emilia Wickstead and Charles Anastase. Using this  experience to hone her skills, she decided to go out on her own and launch her own brand; Filiarmi was born.
