A MODERN FUSION OF 1930s EAST ASIA AND CONTEMPORARY ELEGANCE
For Autumn-Winter 25, Filiarmi delves deeply into the enigmatic charm of 1930s East Asia, channeling the era’s poised yet daring aesthetic. Colors and silhouettes reminiscent of East Asian traditions are artfully reimagined with a modern sophistication, allowing each piece to radiate both timeless elegance and cultural resonance.
Inspired by Jean Arp’s abstract forms and Sonia Delaunay’s expressive minimalism, Filiarmi weaves AW25 with geometric intricacies, art deco nuances, and its iconic scalloped wave —bringing forth a collection that is both avant-garde and enduring. The collection’s palette—suffused with hues drawn from 1930s East Asian art and couture—presents shades of Crimson Red, Royal Navy, Mulberry, and Tiger Orange, enriched by the delicate hue of Orchid Bloom.
Filiarmi gracefully incorporates iconic elements of East Asian heritage, reinterpreting kimono-inspired sleeves and belts with artful sashes and elegantly elongated sleeves. Exquisite beadwork reimagines classic motifs, blending tradition with modern allure.
Signature styles from previous collections make a return, reinvented with a fresh perspective. The iconic Dolly dress now appears in a striking two-color version. SS25’s Freesia dress emerges in an updated off-shoulder style and renewed palette, while the Daffodil model is reimagined in this season’s colors to harmonize with the AW25 aesthetic.
Filiarmi’s collections are all locally crafted in the brand’s Istanbul atelier. With an in-house team, Filiarmi oversees the entire production process in small batches with a mindful, made-to-order approach. This collection embodies the Filiarmi woman’s timeless grace, delivering sophistication and allure in every piece.
